Mexico is the second largest silver producer in the world, just in 2009 we produced 104.7 millions of ounces. We have the second longest reef in the world, located 200 meters from the Island of Cozumel in Quintana Roo. Mexico is a country of biological diversity. In total number of species, we rank fifth in the world. We rank first in the total number of reptile species (640) and we are home to more than 1,000 bird species, 450 mammals (142 found nowhere else on earth and the second-greatest diversity of any nation) and 330 amphibians. Insect species number in the hundreds of thousands. In Mexico you can find 9 of the 11 types of ecosystems, what is more here you can find the 5 types of weather. It is amazing, isn't it? Well it is just a small example of the Mexican greatness. What can I say, Mexico is amazing just as its people, its culture and its places!
